Introduction
There has always been an insatiable curiosity about Russian ballet. Dancers such as Maya Plisetskaya, Ekaterina Maximova, Vladimir Vasilyev, Natalia Bessmertnova and Erek Mukhamedov have electrified and transformed western audiences.
These, and other Russian dancers, are all products of the Russian system of training. The proof of Russian ballet’s superiority is stated in its history and long traditions. By comparison, western ballet is still young.

How to Audition
All students, Australian and International, will be required to audition live – with the exception of certain International students who may supply a recorded audition at the discretion of the Principal.

Impressive
I just wanted to say how much Ron and I enjoyed the afternoon performance last Sunday. We were so impressed – the technique, the communication, the maturity – it was just wonderful. Please pass on our congratulations to the students as I think their training is excellent. I also believe that they would have gained hours of experience just by watching the guest artists. Weren’t they wonderful?
